Details About the Development
The Woodleigh Residences is a 99-year leasehold development jointly developed by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) & Japanese property developer Kajima Development. This plot was secured back in June 2017 with a top bid of $1.132 billion, which translate to $1,181 per square foot per plot ratio based on maximum allowable gross floor area of 958,450 square feet. Based on construction cost of around $550, breakeven for developer will be in the region of $1,731 per square foot. During the initial launch, many units were transacted in the range of $2000 per square foot, but soon the showflat has been closed and in May 2019, this development was relaunched again and start from $1733 per square foot.
Location
Woodleigh Residences is an integrated development located right at Woodleigh MRT Station. Consist of mall below fully managed by developer, this shopping mall will become a flagship mall for the residents at Bidadari estate. The housing estate is envisioned to be a car light neighbourhood and there will be a few parks and lake within this neighbourhood. This development is designed to provide more greeneries to the residents and a link bridge will link the residents to the Bidadari Park as well as the new integrated bus interchange in Woodleigh Village.
